Boardgame 2024 Olympics. After the deluge of new games that was 2023, the year ahead is looking to be somehow even more packed. But this genre is typically weak on player interaction aside from racing to find the ultimate solution first.
My habits above for overall prior years and monthly 2024 plays shows that my preference for solo board games just seems to increase year on year, reaching nearly 70% of my gaming this year. Ok, full disclosure, my favorite game of 2024 so far is surfosaurus max, it is not combo.
